How to perform this view

  1. 01

Lay patient supine, arms on chest.

  2. 02

Ensure ASIS equidistant from table (no rotation).

  3. 03

Internally rotate legs 15-20 deg to put femoral necks in profile.

  4. 04

Tape or support feet in position.

  5. 05

Centre CR midway between ASIS and symphysis pubis.

  6. 06

Apply gonad shielding for males if it does not cover anatomy.
